This muse thing is rather contrary...

Dry

I am dry dry dry
I cannot sing or cry
Or speak or dream
I am ordinary
And I am sad.

This then becomes
And I am glad...

This is fun fun fun
It seems it has begun
Words taste of cream
I am ordinary
And I am not sad.

Commentally Ill
it is interesting to note that the word you chose as the opposite to dry was fun.

It's funny how "ordinary's" appearance changes when viewed from different angles.

Nice repeating rhythms and a reminder that the muse can take a break too. She/He always comes back to give us a nudge.

What a great "bootstrap" poem! So concise and joyful. Well Done, Jenks.
