Almost Rivers
Almost always rain
Rivers filled with pain,
Before you appeared out of the blue like a pure, fierce flame
Wearing a dress made from the sky, sewn in lines of haunting couture
Your sandaled feet bending the grass which grew such heavenly verdureĀ
Words sleeping in my dreams reawakened and we became
Once more light flew dancing summer through looking glass moments reflect
Where our paths led inside where our arts mingled and twined in place
Weaving intricate patterns like the expression of a face
As our sight drew ever nearer like spirits living to connect
My clouded vision cleared
After you appeared.
