Kaleidoscope Heart
When you feel my heart like a kaleidoscope cry
living raindrops on the face of your sky
painful to watch pails of wanting
Beauty mourns for Joy not long for this world,
only moments left to spare for the light, for a song
just a wish in your ear to become unaware
of where we sleep so all alone inside the night,
how may I reach through the veil like puzzles you wear
to visit the very deep burning stars in your eyes
with pearl combs to brush the heaven waves of your hairÂ
or to hold the reins of Time tight to my chest as it flies
will you fill my heart like a kaleidoscope as it cries?
