Your Place
In your place there are the heavens
vast rolling skies of summer
billowing waves about the sun,
There my dreams die all day
awake each night to be reborn
into the light of worlds undone,
In your place there is singing
ghostly songs with words I know
telling tales so strangely familiar
dare I to hope, we are similar
when I awake, cold and alone
in your place there is no one.
