OUT OF THE LINE (WORLD WAR ONE)

Play games of football
Games rugby games of cricket
Later baseball
Games of chance
Pitch and toss
Crown and Anchor
If you are Tommy
Two-up if your a digger
An Australian
Craps if your a Yank
Games to be avoided

Rather better than games life of death
Back at the front I think don't you?

Having a laugh
Playing the fool

Your out the line
Fore your a winner
At least for now at least

I would think it was a big relief to play games during any lull in wartime. Keeps men from thinking too much too!
