If I Was Not In Love, (with you)
If I was not in love;Then everything would be something else
Not like this, living, sleeping, dreaming, breathing hope
That you are r e a l
The way you make me feel is a forest inside a thought nothing can steal
Or take from me
The intimation of eternity and the sea's soothing songs you sing
Even as my years tune to wistful yearnings couched in utter blues
I feel the fusion ringing in the soul of my ears to console my tears
This could not possibly be
If I was not in love;
Each chain link of days would weigh far more than ever was
Just before and because the way light plays a heavenly air with the locks of your hair
So bright each and every night visions too dear to explain hold sway with me
Oh, I could just cry when looking at the sky I realize that you see it too
Yet I would drink the river dry and never fill of the thrill and sigh
If I, was not in love...
