Falling Near Bye
Once in time flashing byeRide the ticking hands where they go
Saw lightning in her eye
As we were passing said, "hello"
"Oh you" said she, "Pause a moment please."
For with breath held dear, frozen in place
Beauty of light shining through her face
Appeared as though very Life's release.
The Moon and Stars did seem to peer
Into the veils that she did wear,
My heart shall never again beat the same
Time flashing bye, in the rain falling near....
