You Who Are
You who are,my incandescent candle burning with a fire so gentle&deep
All desire,
someone to, behold to hold and two selves enfold as one
Everyone who has lived should know Love,
Is never a word to be taken lightly, or just a word
Used to confuse the lonely lost souls flickering through
Storms that blight the dark forests of Night,
That Eternal City calls for parted lovers left broken and alone,
To return at last to cross the Past as though a blazing bridge of Light
Consumes my mortal heart and soul and will I burn until,
My spirit flickers into being beyond the bars of thought finite
Love opening every window, door and gate that once was closed
All desire,
You who are . . .
