I DRANK ME FILL

I drank my full of the grape
Of both the rouge and blanc
Them just dont mix so well!
I a woke me mind a total blank
And me 'ead it awfuller than when
I crashed , when ever that were
Who's that playing the 1812?

Well done, Ken. This poem brings back painful memories.

hehehe... oooh getting drunk on wine, not advisable, I'd think, least of all on both kinds of wines to boot! :) This made me smile *hugs* xx

You have the talent to tell a tale with just the right words. Words that make the poetry come alive. I feel for this poor fellow and his hangover and then having to hear the sound of loud music. What a funny and quirky poem you have written. :) Kathy
