The Wells Of Heaven
I was waiting for the wells of Heaven to run dryMy soul felt the burning star of your touch
of spirit bright, brighter than the brightest day
your presence shone inside my eye the bye and bye we drew
Splendidly serendipitous symbols of ourselves inscribed in stone
The Night was always there to shelter us so used to alone,
How curious it was of you to ask me for a l i g h tÂ
until I realized we were a m a t c h and knew why
If you took Forever from my heart and never let me go
There could never be another parting to render me, so
I am waiting for the wells of Heaven to run dry...
