Night-Roads
On night-roads dreams are signs on movie screensrepetitious tides made of digital dots ebb and flow
The shore undulates, circulates, careens
An abstract show inside a pillowy town
Where feathery wings of blue something brings
You closer to to the forest strangely grown
Climb between vines creeping o'er signs of seedy towns sown
Like tattered gowns of moonlight drenched flesh and bones
Seem to gather violets into a belt to thresh the frozen flail
Hear the hail from across a splintery board, (feel that?)
Hazy horde quake like shell-shocked thunder in the low down back brain
Tracks are lost in following the director's blip baton
The trip is plastered at the foot of every channel
Curtains ripple rivers run into streams
On night-roads dreams are signs on movie screens
