Listening to: Syd Barrett: No Mans Land

(just you)

When some intangible quality finds you alone and in the dark
Wide awake afraid of sleep dreaming of a friend to understand
And help to keep things safe,
When the waves are ever so high and the thunder crashes loud
Too overwhelming to venture out into the all to known and face the crowd,
Someone appears as though from right out of thin air
Bringing laughter and smiles to fill in what waits beneath the night your fears
Know how to take the hint as if on cue, the timing right, fright disappears,
In waves of words to bring you peaceful kind inside the corners that hide blind
Turn on the lights with a wish and a hug and a prayer
Until all your world is calm, although no one is there, (just you)

Ok, I'm listening to the song as I read this :) Listening now...

Hey, you've changed the lines, am I wrong? :)

The feelings that come through for me are comforting and loving. Truly nice, from a person who wishes nothing but the best for someone who is special to their heart. Very enjoyable.
