She Likes Cats

She likes cats
Cats like her back
tiger-striped tabbies
With spots of black
Grown cats and babies
Kittens with mittens she's seen
With white-tipped tails long and lean
Looking at her with,
Those with eyes of emerald green
High-pitched miaows and purrs serene,
She likes cats, they return the favor
Cats of every type and flavor,
Cats with M's on their brows
And cats with extra toes
Ones with a spot on their nose
Oh my, she really loves those
A certain ancient breed dressed in tuxedos
So with all the cats she knows
How could she become morose?
Feeding them peppermint oranges and cloves,
Living with such fine
Wonderful cats in bundles and droves
She loves their ways, humors and looks
On occasion, she reads them books!
With a feline outline
Stretched out supine divine.

Being one who absolutely loves cats, this hit the spot for me very nicely :) All cats have their own little characters and personalities... I understand the attraction and affection expressed here :)

Sweet piece. :)
A cat with an M on her brow kindly allows me and the young ones to share a house with her. She keeps us on the straight and narrow, when she feels like it.
