SPINNING PLAITS

Years ago , on TV , usde to be
A man , sticks , probably bamboo
He'd put a plate on each stick
Then He'd spin the plate , on the stick
Fast on his feet , up ago the next plate
Get it spinning , he'd check the others
One would be a wobbling , it were goner
Fall!

Land , smash in to shards on the floor
Should be to slow

He'd have it spinning just in time
Then , reach fer another plate
Checking out the other plates on the top
Of each stick
Till he was surrounded , by spinning plaits

I kind do that , it's not plaits , that are spinning
No bamboo sticks
Not on TV

But I do the same kind of , with words
I have to be fast on me feet , all the same
A mind gymnast , keep the spinning , a going
