Once A Princess
Once a princess in a glass did liveAnd did thereabouts reside
By a river from a source beyond
Like a soul inside a prism of otherworldly light
Faring forthwith fairly crowned a fairy wand of wishful waves
Bejeweled and diaphanously gowned in the mornings of her smile,
In her heart there were deep heavens rich in wisdom won through pain
I came to love her like the rain each day, every night my searching dreams
Crossed seas of monstrous Night so vast and deep in quest
Seeking a key to the bracelets on her wrist so worn with care
Paladin impetuous bold to dream without rest
Singing Hope, in the elemental metaphysics of her hair
Beauty mediated All to forgive,
Once a princess in a glass did live...
