Alter Rations
Look out you're moving back and forth, she saidGoing nowhere for all your worth, afraid
Of what is not there to find
Is there something on your mind?
Today is off the record, caught on tape, digitalized and framed
It's time you realize the words taught escape your eyes and go unnamed
Forces falter at the alter, rations thinning in the thick demise
Something picks you are one among the chosen dense
A comma sense of coma calms the scene you see that since you sense
Movement in the concrete discrete street lies like a sheet of written tense
Past the rails which fail at last to lathe the cast enough to mend offense
Going nowhere for all your worth, afraid
Look out you're moving back and forth, she said.
