Astral Leaves
Time watches from the mirror glassA dream, some sigh the moments pass
Your eyes shine like rivers of swirling astral leaves
Fountains of impossible tomorrows promises banked,
Fairy tale visions fall like storybooks into transparent hands of light
A clock inside your heart beats time a perfect pantomime
Of what is or is not real describes our melancholy a r c
Your Joy lies crying in the grass
Time watches from the mirror glass,
Like rivers of swirling astral leaves your eyes, s h i n e .
