A STORY A POEM

Each day , storys , poetry
That day could well be today
Or from days past
Something experienced this day or night
May well kick emotions, anger , frustrations, even love
Could will light a fuse , touch paper
Then bingo , bang , then a story-poem appears
On paper , on screen in front

They await till say today to write
Maybe the morrows to come
They cook gently away , the slow cooker
Of the mind
Those storys ,them poetrys in the mind

Does rely mater , in what form they take
The structure , oh what the heck , it maters nowt
At all

Just as long as they are writ , and read , that what maters

It's nice to be read, but it's the writing which matters more, the irresistible impulse to make art.

Love it, especially "the slow cooker of the mind"

I love it, Ken, because it's so true. The stories and poems, the emotions are all cooking away in our brains, until suddenly they spring out in words. So true. Thanks for sharing.
