A Train
A train in the rainSlides down wet, cold steel
Like a knife through pain
On a reeling reel
What bad was done the past goes on
To cast a shadow cross the dawn
In the dark again
Forget how to feel
Life lost like the rain
Find the edge and kneel
Feel what the sun's at last withdrawn
Cutting it's rails blood pale and wan
Stick figures silhouette, mantis and fly
Beetles and larvae compose lullaby
On a reeling reel
Like a knife through pain
Slides down wet, cold steel
A train in the rain
