Who said that distance makes the heart grow fonder? Just seems to make it suffer to me.

You are too far away.

Empty coffee cups

Dishes to wash

You're too far away

My heart bleeding and lost

Seconds like hours

Days wilting like flowers

Alone in my memories

Just counting the cost

How can I fill

This dark empty void

When today like tomorrow

Is already destroyed

Leaving nothing but edges

Jagged and torn

Like an old celluloid film

Dreams burnt out before dawn.

"Days wilting like flowers" is a wonderful line, and says it all.

Such a soft sadness here.

Can so relate to this right now about my douce moitié... sigh. Beautifully expressed and can only agree.

Your images express the sadness of the moment very clearly.
Well written.
