a new model to draw

Life drawing

She stood and posed as posers do
And the class looked on
My pencil worked the finer points
My eraser smudged the smudgy bits
Her arms, her legs her pointed tits
And the class looked on
I thumbed away the sharp edges
The edges that needed thumbing
The model motionless and silent
And the class looked on
I flicked away with charcoal
Her crotch as black as soot
She glanced at me I looked at her
Her nakedness drew me in
Art for art's sake I saw her think
I think I saw a wink
And the class looked on
"Relax, relax, it's over now
Time to show your work"
Later
The class had gone
She looked at mine
I looked at hers

Croquis drawing is also developing the mind. Nice poem.

Nice work, Mick. Good rhyme pattern and a racy theme.
