Tow

Into the snow she dipped her tow coloured hair
murmuring low, "there appears to be a stair"
I think so, and so she went
skipping merrily stones so blue amongst the drifts
consequent of:
disconnecting telephones until the weather lifts
rapt in taps w/violet tones rang between the windy shifts
her fleet afoot though barely frozen flew
(sleet)
"There appears to be a stair/// /// (suppose she knew?)
"
Into the snow
Murmuring low,
Her tow coloured hair
she dipped, ( & f l e w )

Here is an intriguing piece, my friend :>)
All at BirdBrains were not aware of 'tow coloured' as a hair shade until this moment. We're interested in how the lady of the poem discerns stairs in snow using her hair. We like the merry skipping that ensues and we're drawn to the '(sleet)' as it seems quite quiet. Applause!
