I hate it, when memories fade.

Less i forget

Granite memories
slowly sink
into the ebony pool of my mind
i catch a glimpse
of my forgotten rose
as the rest of time slips by
and as i slide
down the blade of my fears
my life
is cut in two
but in those moments
when my heart is free
i will only
think of you.

Granite memories - blade of fears
I'm sure that these two images won't fade from my memory for quite a long time...

I hate it also when memories fade. But they don't really fade, they just go on stand-by and are forced in the dark rooms at the back of our minds.

Everything our eyes witness, whether it be beauty or ugly, love or hate, a friend or an enemy, we can always recall those moments. :)

A very nice poem, I love the painful words of being cut into two. Fantastic write!
