WELL THEY DID ASK ME!

Well they did asked me
They asked me so I told
'Em
Asked me the why fores
So I explained to 'em
The short and long term of it
Did me best to anyway
By then it were late
To late to ask
I said maybe , maybe not
Only time will say what's what
They were rather perplexed
As if it was that complex!

Well they did ask me! At least they did that!
But by then it were way of course way TO LATE!
