CHATING SAT OUT SIDE THE SUNRISE CAFE
A lovely summers day - comfy - worm kind of daysat among people - sat comfortably - at ease
in good company - two marred for years - known awhile
they were with friends from Wales - the land of song - and conversation
as they talk - I look for a book I'm reading - could I find - Good Omens - could I heck as like
I pull out other books - in my back pack - I carry a library of books on my back!
As I search me back pack I listen - putting in my three pence contribution in to the chat
One of the Welshman observes the books that show as I search -
'' see you like books '' the man observed
''aye , that I do '' , '' I prefer to escape in books - than swallow pills - snort - inject -drink alcohol''
in my mind a said: '' and all that kind of shit'' left that to the Welshman - to think
he was grinning - so I know he'd read my mind - we were in mixed company
'' to get away from life when life is going badly ''
he smiled and grind
The chat covered much by now I'd finally - found Good Oman's - Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman - a book with humor - with
an edge - will get the reader - thinking - many a truth said in humor
the chat covered much including a gay carnival over Margate way
jokes of course - humor - a plenty - due to age - in good taste
'' well as long as none fancy you! '' , '' live and let live ''
his mate , agreed , we all laughed at each other
'' there wont be that many , run around - blow their whistles - give the impression
there is more than in fact there were
good humor was the order of the day
It were a good day to be sat out side The Rising Sun Cafe - York Street - Ramsgate
