If I Could
Innocent eyes, both deep and shallowas yet no life to pain the heart
no sights to shed tears over
no bitter feelings to scar her innocent eyes
eyes that only see love
eyes that ask for cuddles
eyes that smile and laugh
complete and utter trust
the toddler with wide bright eyes
innocent eyes that ask for nothing
I would give her the earth
if I could
