In A Fairytale

You were the child in a fairytale
So enchanted so imprisoned for a spell
In a dream your Prince to the rescue came
Upon his questing lips the magic letters of your name
In time a rhyme he spoke them all, to what, a veil?
Swaying away like a bridge of Light cloaked in mist
The way trellis vines wove incantations about your slender wrist,
So supple summoning seas of leaves green intonations
Marking out an imaginary door within the dark nightwaves
He swam a million islands past just to tell
At last the lock broken open, pale
So enchanted so imprisoned for a spell
You were the child in a fairytale.
