Mary Geth
She was Mary on the road to GethsemaneThe Book of Holy Psalms clasped like a prayer to her breast
Followed by some burn out guy let's call little Georgie
Just for some random obscure reason the universe only knows,
In one hand she held a palm frond woven into a crucifix
In the other was a 💊 pill 🔫 gun (pilgrim) "you know a girl she need her fix."
My confession Father;
I loved, wanted, needed, lived and breathed her
Like the sky she shone always inside so alone
Just the telephone our only link
It's hard to blink away the years are escaping me
As is Mary on the road to Gethsemane.
