THE MS: ST. LOUIS MAY 1939 (a work in progres)

In 1939 the MS: ST. Louis - Hamburg - set a course for Cuber with 937 refuges - Jews on board
Cast off - the captain set a course for Havana - hope - nay expecting
A welcoming - going on to the U S A
They found far from a welcoming - they found on - rejection
The U S guvermant made it clear '' DON'T SAIL TO THE U S A! ''
The captain - Gustave Schroder - had no option - but to set curse back to Europe
Country's many of 'em - had said: '' NO MORE - NO BLOODY MORE! ''

The Captain - had no choice - set course back to Hamburg
On landing all the refuges all arrested - all ended up in camps
Of the 937 - 250 lived

I can think of the present times - with out thinking of the past!

That is so sad Ken. Things do not seem to change much through the years :(
