Swirling the tempests of trees tangled in our sheets of silent, silken winter
Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty slice the apple drive home the haunted splinter
Frosts are piling on your mind horrors that weep
Fractured pictures, bent and twisted rusted, rotten frames long lost
Times sometimes return in wasted shapes bearing erasing tapes and tones
Sticks and stones stick to the bones like crazy glue on telephone static
Erratic fingers weave like wave like hands in profaned sacred symbols no one understands,
Reasons and rhymes, belfry chimes in medieval towers keep
Ghosts are smiling at us tonight from behind, curtains of sleep .
