THOUGH THE NIGHT MAYBE DARK (with thanks to alarian)

Though the night be dark
The night has no moon
No stars doting the sky above
Street - lights - off - cars off
The roads
The poet - thus
Poets - pottery - spreads
The light in the poets minds - of the readers - bright
