Try - attempted - to wordsmith this write. So has to overcome - shortcomings in the text.
I ramble - disjointed - thoughts - words - lines out of sink - as I try to understand - What become of you - came to us - while you were -
'' over there ''
I stood there looking fore you - saw you coming down the steps - of the plane
Saw you walking towards me - as you came closer You looked so diffarant from The last time - walking towards me - our child - were with mum - she were teething
You resembled - the one who left to go '' over '' - there
The plane - you one among the others - your back to me - I remember
You looked back to me - smiled - gave me a wave - waved back
Tears well up in my eyes - I'd told my self - not to cry - well as you got
Further away from - unlikely to see , me crying - I gave way to my tears
Let them flow - down my check - my shirt - became a sponge - soaking up my Tears
When I saw atop of the steps of the plain that brought you - back home to me
I sensed something was not the same - I saw to looking out - I thought you were
Looking fore me - BUT - no - I looked again - you were not looking - no you were
'' STEARING ''- as if you had landed in a strange place - I know that you were not
The same - as before - the one I'd set up home with - had a child with - you
Took first steps - after you had gone OVER - THERE
Who I had known - was I - know - sensed - was no more - with foreboding
I hugged you - kissed you - you hugged me - kissed me - but were strangers now
What we had - was dead - passionless - no love - that had died - killed off - over - There
When you had finished with the army - at the check out - you slowly almost shuffling - as if regretting - meeting me - I had felt it would be best - our Jessy
Were with her Nan - so we could meet - just the two of us - I were right to do so -
After The Army - The Government - finished with you - you took to drink - drugs
We broke up - you left - never hear from you - you knocked me around - always
Said - you were sorry - then get drunk - same again - every time
Before you went '' over there '' - never even raised your voice at me - let alone Your hand to me
What happened to you '' over there ''?
