Love Behind An Alice Window Pane
Love you were the Summer sun, shining over all the children running alongPaths of play an endless day reflected through your eyes so bright and blue
Love you were
Love you were
A ghost living in haunts of memory casting spells of thrilling beautiful song
(I) unwilling to release the words to cut the chains which bound (my) heart
Where were you Love
Where were you Love
Was there behind an Alice Window Pane surrounded by her Heavenly Alone
Watching with her creature friends as (I) made silly faces to the glass
Consulting a rather large caterpillar sitting on a hookah throne, she laughed
A smile my way.
Paths of play an endless day, reflected through your eyes so bright and blue
Love you were the Summer sun, shining over all the children, (We, must be), running along.
