Dicentra Hideaway
Let me be a garden
A bit out of your way
So you may seek the magic
That hides inside
I follow no rules
Unruly tangled stems
Support a color riot
Of dewy flowers and leaves
Unwind yourself
In dappled sunlight
And deep shade
Touch the warm, moist earth
Nothing else may intrude
I’m here for you
Rest a while
Let go your burdens
Then take your leave,
Empty and refreshed
I’m fertile and full
My gate closed behind you
I will be here
Blooming my flowers
Unfurling my leaves
Until you seek again
