Dicentra Hideaway

Let me be a garden

A bit out of your way

So you may seek the magic

That hides inside

I follow no rules

Unruly tangled stems

Support a color riot

Of dewy flowers and leaves

Unwind yourself

In dappled sunlight

And deep shade

Touch the warm, moist earth

Nothing else may intrude

I’m here for you

Rest a while

Let go your burdens

Then take your leave,

Empty and refreshed

I’m fertile and full

My gate closed behind you

I will be here

Blooming my flowers

Unfurling my leaves

Until you seek again

one trick pony The PoetBay support member heart!
these garden images are rich and inviting and irresistible. the title sent me find some images of dicentra which complemented the poem perfectly.
