THOUGH IT'S COLDER NOW!

Though it is colder now
Nip in the air
Temperature dropping
Winter warmest since
Records kept - wettest
Winter to - days and nights
Constant rain

I live on chalk
White cliffs surround
Looking out to sea
Postcard picturesque
When it rains - chalk
Sock up the rain - as like sponge
Sudden frost - freezes the chalk
Sudden - warmth - chalk - cliffs
Crack - chunks - slip in to the sea

Where I live - shrinking - over time will vanish
Become a sandbank - in time
Globule - worming - changing - is a fact!

I've been there. I've seen the erosion. I've seen the beautiful colours of the sands.

The weather has been screwy here as well. The past two winters were very cold, this winter has been very warm and rainy. Not as extreme as yours, we don't have the flooding and damage. What is the world coming to?
