Love is not worth it
|
|
2006-12-28 Dear Christian,
I loved this one - I completely understand & agree with your statement about love. It's deffinitely true that when women are asked about their best, dearest lovers - they choose those who'm they lost or never have gained. The poem is quite to the point..

Outcast From Self
|
|
2006-12-28 I love this one for it's honesty and for the way you can describe deep emotions.. a lot of us seem normal on the surface, while the inside is just rotten till the bones. At least you've got the willpower to fight your own demons even if it hurts, whereas others would just try to ignore them.. Thanks for sharing..

Tug Of War And Im Not Pulling

2006-12-20 Hi Valerie,
that's a great poem.. You can't make someone love you or stay with you, don't feel guilty - feelings change and true chemistry can not be held on a distance.. I've been through the same, guilt can eat one up - don't let it, enjoy the feelings if they feel right..

Days are Ticking By

2006-12-20 Nicely done.. I agree fully.. I believe in doing whatever feels right, even if it does get you in trouble.. We live only once - let's make the best out of it, let's dare to be wild..

Insomnia

2006-12-20 Since my childhood I had constant nightmares, so insomnia became my friend and enemy at the same time.. At least beautiful poetry could flourish from it.. lovely..

2006-12-20 What a great write, it reminds me of the style of Anne Sexton - one of my favourite poets.. This is something that would fit perfectly in a modern poetry collection..

2006-12-20 Teala, I perfectly know what you're writing about.. I went through the same thing - being self-confident is one of the hardest things in the world.. It's so unfair and mean that people concentrate on looks & other outer-formalities, forgetting where the true treasure lies.. My best friend was born with some sort of a scar on her face, and I hated those who accentuated it.. Let's try to seem confident, maybe one day it would come automatically..

Adoration

2006-12-20 Beautiful writing.. it's important to feel such great adoration for the person you're with.. I believe that love can not be present without respect and admiration... great work..

The Man
|
|
2006-12-18 Dear Gills,
This story really hurted me in a way, that's why I love it so. You see, everything you described so perfectly is my story - I'm the betrayer, the woman (not a perfect wife) who left her husband, without much explaining. Guilt is a horrible feeling, but the way you've written about the sufferings of the man, made me really think about what I've done. You've done a great job on this one, so touchy, please keep writing..

Midwinter love

2006-12-18 Absolutely beautiful, it really get's the reader to think about life.. We all take so much for granted, and many lose the believe in miracles - we should hold on to hope, no matter what happens..
Wishing you the best,
Francesca

Milady
|
|
2006-12-18 Dear Tai Chi,
You ask if I don't like women? Ofcourse I do - I write for them, in the poem I'm saying that no matter how cold a woman might seem, there's always something gentle in her wishing to be noticed. We try to be tough and protective of our feelings, but at the end we are women and we must embrace the idea. The text was partly based on Dumas' writing and his Milady..

2006-11-19 Your poetry is very nice... I'm probably confusing you with someone else, so sorry for that..
I'm really curious to read more of what's on your mind..
I like the way you phrase things, showing the readers both sides of the story..

2006-11-19 Nice writing.. indeed - I can't argue with the 'second half' statement... I believe that only very few are being granted such privilege.. All desire something this special, but only the special ones are allowed to have one try...

2006-11-15 Interesting... our styles resemble, as if they spring from the same mind or from the same book of tales, don't you think? I like the mysterious side of it all; Your poetry is the answer to a lot of my questions..
