Catching up
As we met again
the stars began to sing,
and to my infinite surprise
you proved more beautiful than ever.
We have both had our hardships,
our souls are maimed with scars and ulcers,
as the scumbags of incompetence and ignorance
could never stop harassing us,
but we survived with our wings quite intact
and more prone to fly more skilfully than ever.
Our reunion was traumatic for its overwhelmingness,
since we were separated for too long,
and although our union tragically will remain impossible,
all we can do is hoping it will not be such a long time
of insufferability until we meet again.
