Our mortal limitations

We all have our limitations, and we are ashamed of them.
We don’t want to admit them, but they are there,
hindering us from living, blocking our desires,
stopping us from doing what we want, inhibiting us
and closing us up and in to just make a nuisance for our lives
and stopping us from living, sabotaging our activities,
making a mess of our relationships, turning everything into adversities,
and we suffer, keeping quiet about it, hoping no one will notice,
and thus your life is ruined by yourself most unintentionally,
and you just go on living anyway
although you should have put an end to it long ago,
the only practical and decent solution of the problem being suicide.
I am sorry, but I cannot help you, it is your own funeral,
and all I can say for a faint relief is that
you are not alone, not ever.

I strongly disagree. The existence of limitations is hardly a unique attribute of gods. Every entity on Earth, from the simplest organism to the most distant star, is subject to constraints. This does not make the concept of gods more captivating.

That is a beautiful expression Christian, I needed to hear that and sure others do as well, even if you might’ve meant this for someone else specifically. Not in a very good place right now but your timing is awesome 🤩
