A universal star of love
If I could only in any way eternalize you
for all your generosity and bounty,
all you did for me in presenting to me a world of beauty
and of splendour, bequeathing to me a friendship
that will go on beyond mortality in honesty and candour,
as I never will forget it but keep it constantly inside me burning
with a flame that never will go out but keep forever burning
with a love beyond all limits of mundane existence and mortality,
a love that touches on infinity and challenges divinity
in honesty and truth beyond all comprehension,
like one of those star signs that shine forever
in the universe fixed for a billion years
in splendour and imperishable truth, sincerity
and affection beyond capable expression in futility of words,
and still it does exist and will persist in all its absolute sincerity
as something of a falling star that will go on
persisting in its fall of splendour
enlightening the sky and universe forever.
