Giving
Luke tells us this:Our Saviour, Jesus,
Said, there is more joy
In giving, than
Receiving.
How true these words
Have proved to be.
But for every giver
There is a receiver,
Or there is no joy.
So, let's all learn
The precious art
Of graciously receiving.
Thus, we too bestow a gift:
The gift of joy.
