A series of quatrains highlights the individual characteristics of creatures!
He'd win my heart, if anybody can.
Caring for that egg, oh, what a hero,
Protecting it in temperatures sub zero.
The Zebra is a chap who likes to hide,
On the Savannah grassy, flat and wide,
From prowling lions hungry, fierce and proud,
By standing still, and merging with the crowd.
Komodo Dragons are a funny lot,
They bite their prey, and watch them slowly rot.
Putrid flesh may well suit their dentition,
But it's not my idea of good nutrition.

Mister Emperor Penguin, that's my man! He'd win my heart, if anybody can.
Caring for that egg, oh, what a hero,
Protecting it in temperatures sub zero.

On the Savannah grassy, flat and wide,
From prowling lions hungry, fierce and proud,
