Civil War

Houses on a narrow street
With many a shiny car
Is just the perfect recipe
For an English Civil War.

In some streets it's OK to take
Your next-door neighbour's space;
In others, if you do the same
You will be in disgrace.

So even if you LOVE that house
Just check before you buy,
If it's in a narrow street,
WHICH parking rules apply!

I parked my new car were I parked my old car.
Ended up with two flat tires. Adults can be sooo childish.
Thanks for sharing. Regards your friend Alan.

Marie, you've brought a smile and a jaunty set of quatrains to my day. Thanks!

Oh, Boston's parking-space wars, especially after snowstorms, are legendary!
