This one is about me calculating the time from my wife’s birthday to the date of her death, 150 days, then I calculated from my date of birth 150 days as i thought that if I went to be with her on that certain date we would be together on the other side.
From your birth to your death
So I did my calculations
I thought I’d try that myself
But you sent down an angel
To stop me in my tracks
And just to remind me
There’d be no turning back
So I wrote a poem
To give the angel her due
All along knowing
She was an extension of you
So my personal 150 days
Finally came and went
And I’m still sitting here
Thinking about the time we spent
Then, a Snow White feather
Fell soft and silent to the ground
Was that you letting me know?
That you’ll always be around.
God Bless and Rest.
