Temptation

Temptation is welcomed
By weakness of the mind.
Entry is gained without force,
Since what is resisted is so fiercely desired.
So I fight no more
I surrender to you.
You I welcome with arms wide open.

Enter into my world and paint it
Paint my thirsty walls blood red
ANd make sweet my loneliness with pain
Like silk you slip into my mind
Smoothly,
Gently,
Lightly
And fall ever so faintly over me,
Enveloping me in a world
Where limits do not exist,
And that which is forbidden is indulged;
It is invited sweetly.

And on your waves I will ride,
Moving to your rhythm, going with the tide
To and fro
I will close my eyes and let go.
Together we will move,
You and I
One
And together we will rise
High
So high on waves that crash
And when they crash
I will fall into you
Sand and water
No longer apart.

Like the ocean kisses the shore
Embraces it tenderly each morn,
So freely I let myself be,
No further than a heartbeat,
Forever bound inextricably to thee.
