A revisit to an earlier poem, and as with my last, nothing as changed.
Another Year
As we enter into another year,Despite and not because of
All the suffering in the world,
Our little candle still gives light
And in its small glow of hope
We may still wish for a better
New Year, when against all odds
Some good may yet come to be.
So, I shall wish for you and me
A new beginning, when maybe
We at peace shall hopefully be
