Unfortunately
Do you see the bright line looming there,
That line where clouds give way to sun?
It's tempting to believe that such an abrupt
Break from darkness might be echoed in
The human sphere. A sudden end to
What we're seeing, misery and ceaseless
War, could come, we hope..., but we're
Mistaken. Evil actors rule the globe.
The shroud they've drawn upon us isn't
Likely to be lifted soon. Thrust into
An age of sorrow, we will have no sun.
