The Miracle of Memory
Memory is a wonderful thingSo many thoughts it can hold
A hot summer day, a golden ring
At least thats what I'm told
The days go by, things occur
Sometimes too fast, such a blur
Slowing down, helps us think
Or else end up in a real stink
Broken Hearts, Mended friendships
Sometimes tricky, what a trip
Sunday mornings, Summer nights
Your first love, felt so right
We dwell on past, not needed to survive
The present is here, so feel alive
The future is near so take it with open arms
Then maybe your memory can be filled with charms
