A Wave of Mind
The wild wind blows through my hair
Sending shivering feelings everywhere
Along my body
And through my mind..
Standing there I feel alive
Looking around only sand and sea
Reaching with my sight as far as I can see
The graded blue sea calmly talking to me
About how cruel life can be
About what we are going to be
About what is it we can't see!
What is it we feel that makes us real?
Eat , sleep and drink?
Others die and others cry
And people just say we don't care
I don't know why?
Why do we constantly drift away
Bit by bit
And day by day
Where will this lead us one day?
Gore and violence
Crime and murder
Theft and rape
And much more.. even sold on tape..
The sea spoke to me of times of peace
Of times of wisdom
Of times of purity
Of times when we were still merciful creatures.
What has happened to the human mind?
What has happened to make us so blind?
Where do we intend to go?
The end of the world!
Just to kill each other and rule a dead world?
I close my eyes as a tear slides down..
Filled with anger and rage by now
A shout
A scream
And I drop to my knees..
Knowing its hard but I feel so weak
I keep battling along just to understand
What is wrong with people?
Why don't they take a stand
And unite as one
With the advances and all the technology
And all what science proved
We still segregate
We still are illiterate!
We still under-estimate
Racists of color , religion and race
What has become of the human face
A scarred monster eating itself
Devouring its own body
To feed itself..
To feed its greed of absolute power
One day I think time will come
When we all be judged for what we did
And what we said
As I linger in silence,
The sear stormed about and then calmed again..
And told me to move on
And keep on fighting again
Even if I'm the only one left on earth
But It was sure
There are more who walk the earth
It told me to seek them
And fight together
Ten hands are always better than one
The wind went through my hair..
My tear dried out
Feeling I want to go on and on
I get to my feet and shall move on
And one day I will reach somewhere
Where or how
I don't really care
But as long as I do what is right
And know right from wrong
As long as I still breathe and walk the earth
I will seek to put a smile
Until am buried into earth
Plant a rose
Plant a tree
Plant a smile that everyone can see
Because we are in need of a true smile
Of a large tree
Where we all can lean and rest in peace
