This poem is for my friend Miranda who went through a major ordeal during the summer of 2006.
For the answer I had to wait.
The one I loved was in my sights.
With my luck, I'd be alright.
One problem though, another friend.
Who'd go all out to defend.
His right with me, his love and joy.
These dreams of his I would destroy.
Was I happy? I thought all was well.
My emotions had me impelled.
My love was mine and I wasnt fine.
My other friend had left me behind.
He blamed me for my choice of action.
This lashing back was his reaction.
He told his friends and killed my spark.
I was left alone all in the dark.
I cried and cried for days it seemed.
I thought it over and finally screamed.
One friend helped me and all was at peace.
This was my one emotional relesase.
I knew this choice would seal my fate.
For the answer I had to wait.
The one I loved was in my sights.
With my luck, I'd be alright.

Split Decision
I knew this choice would seal my fate. For the answer I had to wait.
