Then something occured, out of the blue
A girl was here, watching me work
With that sly look and her innocent little smirk
My boyfriend and I were as thick as ice
Were we too thick? Since it enticed
This girl to interfere and steal my man
It was because of her that "we" began
The rumors were flying, left and right
These poisonous words destroyed my night
I tried to fight back and with luck succeeded
This was a break that I truly needed
So here I was, the battle now won
The lies were gone, she was now done
All was at peace with me and my love
The perfect gift from heaven above
